What pretty Christmas cookies, and what a pretty Christmas picture of your cookies!
I am so proud of you, Kimberly, for taking the initiative to bake for your family. I just love it when teenagers go into the kitchen and bake, for fun or for special occasions. That way when I'm with those baking teenagers, I can help eat the goodies they make! YES!
Just take care not to let your heart swell up with satisfaction. (I'm teasing!) When I was a teenager, I had 3 brothers and a little sister that devoured every thing sweet I baked. So, I never gave it any thought and figured I could bake just fine. Well, then I married Grandpa and when I baked, he called my sugar cookies, 'flour' cookies, and when I made homemade biscuits that had NOTHING wrong with them, he said we daren't throw them at anybody or the biscuits would kill them, nor did he gobble any of my baked goods all gone the way my younger siblings had. But Grandpa isn't a big sweet eater, nor has he been as hungry as my siblings and I used to get when we were growing up with very little money, plus he LOVES TO TEASE, which I didn't realize too well as a young wife. So I had a real let-down after I was married, and here I didn't even realize I was up in the air. Ha!
Well, I've gone to reminising and written more than I should have!
I love you, Miss Kimberly Anna! Keep up the good work of baking!
