Happenings in our home...

One morning Mary was on Mommy's bed and wanted a drink of water. But she had food in her mouth so I wouldn't let her.  And this is what she did...
Mary is so dramatic  :-)
Since Daddy has no private office, he usually uses earplugs while he is trying to study, which is most of the time.  This morning our family was around the breakfast table, and Daddy who was going to have family devotions said, "I want everybody to lend me an ear."  Then Sarah asked him, "What would you do if you had five ears?" Daddy answered, "I'd put an earplug in every one of them."
We (including Daddy) thought it was pretty clever. =)

Cute post from a "ear-plug-lover" Haus as well. We've decided rather than try to win Daryl over, we'll join him and use the earplugs too! It keeps the sanity levels higher!
love you all much and praying for your sweet family and your journey into the uncharted course ahead of you! May God go ahead of you and make the way clear! Much Love from our Haus to yours!

Sarah's reply to her Daddy was cute as was his answer. I think that you have another Elijah in Baby Mary. Cute and insightful post for us that are so far away. I love you, Gram

Kimberly, I don't know what gave you the idea to post this picture of crying baby Mary but I think it was pure inspiration because it let us Grandmas get better acquainted with our newest granddaughter. And the more I get to know little Mary, the cuter and funnier she seems and the more I love her.
This tiny girl was thirsty and was begging, yea even pleading, for a drink. I don't think she could have expressed her desire any clearer than this! I laugh every time I look at that adorable picture of her. Smile!
Love, Grandma D
